The Three young Muskateer’s on their away travels! (AKA Gemma Bonner, Mel Sutcliffe & Olvia Thackray).

"The weekend began on Saturday with a journey down to our lovely Hotel in Gloucestershire enroute to Bristol.

We knew from the off it would be an eventful weekend when our new celebration was introduced to us on the coach by Jade(Moore), Steph (Houghton) and Waltz (Sophie Walton). Who’d of thought a group of footy girls dancing to Soulja Boy could look so good! As we arrived at the hotel, Liv ( Olivia Thackray) and Jade eyed up the ski-slope but their dreams were swiftly shattered by the gaffer…that would not prevent our assistant Leanne from showing us how it’s done on the driving range. If Leanne was Tiger Woods, Waltz opted for the happy Gilmore style.

After the entertainment of the driving range more was to come in the form of Nic’s (Emmanuel) attempts at charades with an interesting interpretation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! If this wasn’t enough, her and three of her team mates then thought they could levitate Leanne from a chair, after three failed attempts her excuse was not enough focus from the group. At dinner we were pleasantly surprised when our carrot soup came out as tomato and ‘erb’ (haha). The service was exceptional when an over confident waitress got carried away and accidently flicked Penne Pasta onto Gem’s( Bonner) chair and a flourette of broccoli across the room, which was still in place at breakfast the next morning!!

Later on in the evening Rick challenged Nic to a game of darts…Nic’s accuracy and finesse destroyed Rick’s powerful technique. As the 'night' drew in (8pm), conversation centred around karaoke as Liv decided she’d take all five parts of Girls Aloud and Mel fancied herself as Lulu. Jess went for a more traditional choice of Cher with Georgie ( Adams), Mariah Carey. With Rick calling a management meeting Jess (Wright) didn’t realise one of her captaining responsibilities included babysitting our lucky mascot Louis. We were all in bed in time for MOTD though Sunday arrived and the preparation became a great deal more serious as our cup tie drew in.

After a swift team meeting we set off to the ground in a positive mood. Preparation was good and at k.o time we were ready for CRUNCH TIME!! It was a tightly contested game with the score locked 0-0 at half time. The second half brought much more free-flowing football from both sides with end to end opportunities. The deadlock was finally broken when Munchie finished off a pullback from Mel in the 83rd minute. The pressure was then on as Bristol turned up the heat. Disaster struck in the referee’s 'dubious' 93rd minute of normal time as Bristol equalised from a scrappy corner.

Then came extra time as Leeds walked a tight rope with Alex and Waltz both on yellow cards. Nevertheless the tackles flew in from all directions, After missed opportunities from both sides and outstanding saves from Carly (keeps), penalties beckoned.

The final whistle brought dread to everyone’s ears. After twists and turns of major proportions Holt’s (Katie Holtham) secured victory after two more heroic saves from Carly. Pandemonium broke out as Leeds progressed through to the next round of the F.A cup. Were now all on the coach revelling in our fabulouss victory and awaiting who we meet in the next round. Yet tougher challenges lay ahead as we begin to prepare for Arsenal next weekend. Hope to see you all there supporting all the girls as we look to kick start the new year."
