Over several years both Leeds United Football in the Community and Leeds United Ladies have worked closely to enhance opportunities both recreation and performance wise for the forthcoming season a collaboration of knowledge, expertise and experience from both organisations have partnered to deliver a first ever season of fixtures within the Girls Centre of Excellence programme.

Our goal and vision is to increase the amount of “home grown” talent from the area thus enhancing the reputation of the game and providing pathways to Leeds United Ladies open age teams.  We aim to assist our youngsters to achieve their potential with our high levels of coaching delivered by Leeds United coaches, fitness training, health related classroom modules, personal action plans and a fixture programme.  All staff involved in the scheme are committed to creating a program of excellence within which young players can successfully develop their playing, academic and social skills.

The centre has playing squads at U10’s, U12’s, U14’s and U16’s as well as an introductory development U8’s squad.  Our U10’s, U12’s, U14’s and U16’s are coached twice a week from our partner facilities of Boston Spa Sports College and Hunslet Boys and Girls Club and play their fixture programme on a Saturday from Boston Spa.  We have two coaches per squad, goalkeeping training, education officer and physio development.
